How do you Boomboxery?

I immediately click on "VIEW NEW CONTENT" in the upper right corner every time come here. Then I have my parameters set as shown below. Its the only way to boomboxery in my opinion.

Not just that...but when you "check" those two and leave the 3rd area unchecked..it leaves the ones you responded to on your list but not highlighted...so you can see that you were either the last one to respond or you looked at it...and its still there in front of you. Did my run on sentence make sense??
The reason I posted is because somehow my options got reset and it took me awhile to figure out what my settings originally were. It was about 7 minutes of madness and frustration.
