i used to have a 1969 sedan deville with a 472 c.i engine and it was very reliable ,only thing keeping me from owning a car like that again are these stupid gas prices cuz i love a big old skool caddy or lincoln  .

My first and only car was a triple white (white/burgundy interior, white paint, white roadster top) 1981 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.

Man, if I come into some money, I want a Caddy like that tho... The gangster whitewalls really brings out the gold paint!

The new ones are incredibly nice but the classic Cadillacs are the sh!t!

I'll mess around and buy another Coupe Deville next year... :angelic:

you Yanks make me laugh when you moan about gas prices . . .

WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF HIGH GAS PRICES?

YOU COULDN'T HANDLE HIGH GAS PRICES

In the UK I am paying £1.48 per LITRE that works out to be £6.66 per gallon (imperial) - about $10.66 in your funny money

so stop being pussies and get that big fat DOPE 7.73 litre NOW before you can't enjoy the sound of a bent 8 up front anymore (coz you know some green DIV is gonna outlaw them soon)

the only reservation i have about getting a old caddy is the 472 500 cubic inch motors. We nearly bought a really nice 69 caddy about a year ago but in the end the fuel cosumption issue pushed me in a different direction
