So what's the real make and model name of the Bolt Box? Never seen one before. Are they quality machines?

Theres about half a dozen different manufacturers and model numbers of them, hence them being called Bolt Boxes in general.

They're very, very rockin boomboxes. Sound is like a RISING 20/20 but just a bit nicer. Definitely one of my favourites.

Oddly, I have not seen such a stripped down version of a bolt box before . Very strange. Seperate left and right volume knobs??? No slots on top for a strap, no line in, single antenna, and no bass/treble knobs but has a 5 band eq......


Condition:
-antenna kinked
-decals are/were taped on
-missing cassette door
-missing cassette keys
-EQ slider cap and post missing
-tuner string isn't working

As much as I want a bolt box, I just don't know what I want to do with this one as it's missing a lot of features I liked about all the other bolt boxes I have seen .

If I were you I would take the front case and shine it up (especially the chrome bolts), and hang it on your garage wall......Toss everything else
