hehe i'm not kidding when i say this is a rare bird.. keep trying..
i've collected over 200 boomboxes in my lifetime.. and this is by far the sweetest i have seen..
i have never been this excited about one period..
to put it bluntly.. to see this badboy in front of me.. is a dream..

another hint..

Retro..

hmmm.. Tshorba Sharp GX-88Z that was quite a fantastic guess indeed..
your correct..

i have in my lucky lucky hands.. one of the (as Retro from S2go would put it) rare unicorn's of boomboxes..
once i seen that pic from Recall Sharp i immediately fell in love.. she's in pieces right now receiving a total overhaul.. pictures will be taken every step of the way.. they will be posted on my brothers website..

this will take some time.. as i want her to be as perfect as possible.. she needs some much needed love.. but is not in bad shape thankfully..

now i have owned both the fisher PH490 and Sharp VZ2000 and this bad boy will probably outwiegh them both.. i'm estimating 40 pounds plus..
some food for thought
each speaker enclosure houses 2-6 inch woofers and 2 inch tweeter.. and the cabinets are made out of wood..

i cant wait until you guys see the finished result..

hell i cant wait!

Incredibly rare!
Makes a GX-300 look rather weak!

You better carry an extra 20 D cells if you go
out with this one!! :-O

Can't wait to see the photos when your done!

Have a great time with it! :-)

holy crap i just seen on Recall Sharp that the box wieghs 17kg which is equal to 37.5 pounds! DAMN! imagine with 10 D cells lol.. and i can already tell it will have wattage to spare.. the STK amp chip is rated at 28 watts per channel minimum!
