Hi, I own a Hitachi TRK 8110e, which needs a new case. Now I found a TRK 8110w for sale, but I`m not sure wether it`s case will fit my box. They look the same :hmmm: - So can somebody tell me the difference between the "e" and the"w" type?

the end letters normally denote either differences in wave bands for the tuner or that one has world voltage and the other doesnt-either way the back panels should be interchangable i would have thought

Finally I figured it out - the difference is the color of the tuning scale. "e" means black, "w" means silver... Then the "e" Type has Long Wave Band and the "w" type a splitted Short Wave Band instead.
