Just got this the other day, loving the red and chrome and I can't believe how good this sounds.
Sold as having a screeching deck, the main belt had been replaced with a very tight elastic band, poor motor had been adjusted to run at max speed, I'm surprised it didn't burn out. Strange that someone would go to the effort of taking this apart, it's not a simple job, and put in an elastic band? rebelted properly now and the deck works well.
It's in really nice condition with just some minor pitting on the cassette keys, there are also two small switch tops missing I've looked on all my parts boxes and non-part boxes but nothing similar
This mini is very similar to the six speaker TRK-6700.
