I wrote to Santa this year asking if I could get my M-X920 fixed for Christmas. I begged him to please bring an Elf/Tech with him and re-solder it's PCB for me. It's been a rather vexing problem that I could never find the time to do. :-/
Lied through my teeth and told him I've been a good boy this year  I mean, I was desperate and figured it was worth a shot...

Anyway, I must have done something right this year, 'cause when I woke up this morning, there it was in all it's glory!

Congrats on getting her sorted!!
Such a fantastic looking machine and a very classic design from Sanyo.
The wiring connections between boards are soldered on as opposed to pull off connectors which makes it more difficult to service.
Lasonic 931 is the same way!

That's why I bought mine serviced and fully working lol...cost me a lot more than I normally pay for a box but well worth it. I just think its one of the best looking boxes ever made :-)

Hahahaha great!
I think he left one of yours here by accident, Joe. I've got a box shaped like a Coby with coal smeared on it and a tag with your name...

I think maybe you sniped one auction too many? :hmmm:
