Hello Boomboxery Users

I have just discovered this site and I love it ! Good to know that there are other people who are still into "old fashioned" units, not neccesarily in the High End Hifi section.

I have 2 JVC M70 units - and if you should wonder about my name : I once was a proud owner of a M 71 which travelled with me throughout the US for about 6 months in 1984. It was just the BEST.

I do not have it anymore, because my car was broken into in Boston in October 1984, and my beloved M71 , my faithful companion of tenthousands of miles, was stolen.

In case anyone of you have units from Germany and need help for searching, feel free to contact me

Attached you find a picture of my M-70 . It is made on my balcony and in the background you seee the famous Black Forest, which is about 15 miles away.

Welcome to the forum mate. Germany seems like a great place to be for boxes as quite a few tend to come from there and ebay.de is always full of nice boxes.

I hope you stick around and enjoy this great place :)

Welcome from the uk! I've bought a couple of nice boxes from Germany, they seem to look after them well there :-)

Thank you for greetings. I will look if I find a good picture where my M-71 can be seen . I should have one or two. But I have to set up my slide viewer first. No JPGs etc. in that time - I used SLIDES.
BTW My M-71 was bought in May 1984 in Boston at Macy's Store. So in case anyone ever offers you one with an original Cash purchase receipt fitting to this - you know what you have to do :-D

Great introduction,

Sorry about the loss of your M-71. Having two M-70's should help ease the pain :-D

Lots of members here with M-70,71,75...for that matter, 60, 80, 90    Plus many many more!

:hi:
