I'm a musician and beatmaker/producer,
a collector of Jazz, 1970's Prog & Fusion,film soundtracks and Hip Hop records.


Im' also an unapologetic drumbreak sample-head and long time lover of all things tape related .

This looks like a dope forum.

Welcome Mr Swizzle...so what are your interests in terms of audio gear?

I use all sorts of stuff for listening purposes tbh Northener, I've owned the same Sony cd player since the mid 1980s although it cost me a small fortune at the time,..(its in the last photo on the left) and various tape decks ,boomboxes,walkmans, reel to reels and mostly Technics DJ turntables over the years.

For recording my own music I like to keep things fairly simple as I don't use computers for beatmaking,composing and editing and like to mix on the fly as much as possible onto Minidisc recorders or 4 track tape machines .

The kit I'm using at the moment here is a
couple of Roland SP-404 samplers an Akai S-2000 and a slightly in need of repair Roland SP-808.

The 4 track tape machine is a
Tascam-424 MK3
