So...I brought the Conion and a Panasonic 3-Piece to a little get-together today. Everyone seemed to like the nostalgic pieces, but I had to give tutorials to two people as to how to use these machines :dunce: . Apparently, most of the world has forgotten how to use this "?antiquated?" technology. Bear in mind these people are in their mid-thirties. I will assume they grew up in households without music.
My brother and I work with a lot of "intellectuals". We have found that six figures worth of education doesn't necessarily get the rocks out of their heads. Are we being too harsh?

I'm not trying to be negative. I have a pretty dry, sarcastic sense of humor and I thought the two "Blaster-Virgins" were very entertaining. :-D

Yeah, you've gotta school those fools!! Haha!

As prominent as boxes were in the 80's, it's almost hard to believe that anybody in their mid-30's wouldn't know the deal about 'em. CRAZY!!

Boston intellectuals..... That pretty much explains it. A lot of people like that think boomboxes are lower-class, or too "showy". Either that, or their parents always bought all their stuff for them, so they went off to college with a full hifi system instead of a boombox.
