Got T-boned yesterday and my beloved 98' Panther is off to the scraps.

She was a damn good car!

That platform was classic, went on for 32 years until 2011. Smooth ride body-on-frame, RWD.

Should be easy to find another though. Get a Mercury Marauder if you can find one.

I'm O.K. just a little sore my mom was checked out at the hospital and all clear!

Yeah Reli I would have loved to own a Marauder but I'm limited on funds. Will end up getting an Intercepter maybe 07'.

These cars are built like tanks I got the full blow and all what I have is a little soreness thank god those Air Bags kicked in as they were built to do. 18 yr. old car damn I will miss my baby.

One thing I can't seem to get the image out of my head.

Personally if the car has rewarded you with such a good service id get it sorted, people have spent more on boomboxes, glad you're ok ford and you're mum cheers :-)

Rimmer36 I would have love to but the cost and time & also being without a vehicle in Florida too rough as here your job is miles away and the transit system is not all that great. Who wants to wake up three hours before going to work and being in the elements of humidity & heat for that transit bus to arrive then to catch another!! :jawdrop:

I'm glad you and your mom are okay. These are solid cars. My partner and I were T-boned by two teenage girls while we were responding to a 911 call. After I was cleared at the E.R., I was back in a new Cruiser before end of shift. Get the Interceptor.

Ouch! :-/ I'm glad you and your mom are ok, I got t-boned by some kid bout 10 years ago and its nothin nice, like Eazy E once said "Throw it in the gutter, and go buy another" Good luck on finding a replacement bro, I know it won't be the same, but hopefully it fills the void.

Oh I did!!

Jimmy got out of his way to drive all the way from his house to pick me up in his monster Subaru STi. We got to this dealer that sells mucho Crown Victoria Intercepters. Jimmy advised me not to go black but I've always wanted one in black. Picked up a 07' in black and the ride is a bit stiffer but that's because it comes with the heavy duty package. I have to go back to pick up a Kevlar Police Trunk Pack which is a trunk cargo bin. Need to also tint the windows 15% . Would love to post pics. but my camera stayed in Jimmies Subaru. So hopefully soon I will post some pics. This sucker has those push bar on the front bumper I'm debating whether to remove them. So now I'm happy with my black Panther. :yes:

Sorry to hear about that to your Crown Vic.
So you got a 07' black? Very cool,we had a 01' Police Interceptor and yes the ride is a little stiffer but that chip adds about 25hp that they have in those 4.6 SOHC V-8's.
I have that engine in my 97' Lincoln,first year of the infamous 4.6L Tritons.
I bet the 07'is faster,more HP that year!

Yes so sorry about your accident but you'll get this one up to your standards soon I'm sure.😎
