awesome box man , i think these use the same speakers as the mx 920 , the mx 920 has the same inverted surround . the reason they do this is to make the trim rings smaller and it keeps the edges of the foam from rubbing .

That's interesting....so I need to buy an MX-920 to rob it for the speakers...ummmmm....hummmm....that seems tough! :lol:

Strange surrounds...interesting design for sure and space saving

For 30 dollars sounds like a robbery to me. Cant see why you left 30 dollars behind - to calm the robbed :lol: ?
Beatifull boomer for sure. And deffo a really good basis for restoration .

I'll tell ya, the lady wanted $60, when it didn't power up, she offered it at $30 before I could say a word! She kept saying "Oh but you drove so far"..."I feel so bad".

what a lovely radio,the aerial can be replaced,the plexiglass can be cleaned and so can the switches,which should cure the low volume fault.your onto a winner here,a real beautiful sanyo....how i envy you :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool:
