Well, my porcelain throne really is surrounded by boomboxes. But in this case, not close. I needed my daughter to press the lamp button while I snapped the photo. Since the boombox was on the floor, we were both kneeling.

Back to the boombox. Yes, it does look a lot like a Superscope. BUT it is not.
