Too late my friend, the damage is done. Some of you lot, want to have a long look at yourselves. I had no end of messages, from people, asking me to come on boomboxery. I had mixed feelings about it, and, they proved to be right. Think, i`ll stick to stereo2go.

There`s me, trying my best, but struggling to recover from a 23hr operation for a brain hemmorhage. What do i get? Fatdog, of all people, posting a pic like that. At one time, i would have thought it funny myself, but, believe me, after what i have had to endure, i don`t find it funny at all. I have a great love for boomboxes, and, that is the only reason i come on these sites. Obviously, people have other ideas.

Dude, I didn't know you until a few days ago and all I know about you is that you are a boombox collector with a BB40. Hearing about your health problems and about your mother really makes me feel very sorry for you and I am glad I did not make any unthoughtful remarks.
I cannot judge in how far Bobby knew about your problems but from what I know he is a friendly and nice man.
please know i am not defending any comments made in this thread but if the people who postet are really honest, a lot of jealoucy speaks from those posts.
Please do not draw any early conclusions about boomboxery in general. I actually do enjoy it here and there are many nice people around. I am not a friend with everyone here either but I would in fact call Bobby my friend and also found a few other great people on here with who I communicate regulary.
You seem to be a nice guy with a sad and hard past. I am really sorry about that and I am sure that the people who made the remarks here did not know about all that.

Rich, while a few people might be dicks, others just have a strange sense of humour. I hope there was nothing malicious in any of the previous comments.
I had read about the rough trot that you had over recent times. I feel for you and while i can't understand what you've been through (because it hasn't happened to me) i do know what it's like to be put down when you're trying to get back up on your feet.

I do appreciate your valued input on this forum.
