Hey guys, technically this isn't my first since starting to collect, there was the mishap with a GF-777Z which i got from china that arrived at my door mostly smashed to bits and unusable but this is my first proper working box and i found it pretty randomly.
i jumped on ebay last night and started looking around at local auctions in Australia, saw this Aiwa CS-660 and had a look, turns out it was only a couple suburbs away from me and looked to be pretty good.
went over there tonight to check it out, everything works bar the cassette deck, it plays tapes but slowly unwinds them and would eventually eat them so unsure what it might be whether it needs a new belt or not.
otherwise this is in great condtion, soon as i got it home fired it up and it sounds great, especially with the DSL going. it needs abit of a clean as it has various stains around the switches etc, but no dings or scuffs or anything so im wrapped
. i've got a Lasonic TRC-920 on its way to me aswell which should show up this week so ill get some pics of that up once i get it!
