Restocat dropped by for a visit on Saturday, all the way from New Mexico! Even dropped off a truck load of flea market finds for me. :w00t:

Sorry guys, no pictures. My place is too embarassing to advertise. :sadno: BUT on a positive note, Phil did get to play with and listen to a few of my boomboxes including My Big Pannys and the awesome Sony FH-7. Terrific down to earth guy -- your normal Joe, or in this case, Phil. It's great to see the face behind the screen name.

Just wanted to say thanks Phil, for dropping by. Hope you weren't too disappointed to find my castle was really a dungeon. :-O :w00t: :lol: ;-)

When I read the title of the thread, my first thought was, "Oh, yay. :-/ Yet another thread where Melly goes to see Norm and play with all the goodies and probably buys yet another fine specimen of a boombox."

Thanks Norm, that was one great trip, well worth the visit! It was just an amazing collection to see. Its a good thing I only brought a small car stuffed with boomboxes. If I had brought my truck, your garage would have been filled!

A 15 hour drive back home brings lots of time to think about all the boomboxes I was shown, and how they sounded. Most importantly, I have a new updated list of must have boomboxes. :lol:

As for the FH7, well, its too loud for me! I never thought I'd say this about a boombox, but that thing is dangerous :lol:
