I am very happy with this kind of packing a very rare Boombox !

It was the best packing i ever got .

What a Boomer could that be ?

On the packing, i generally prefer bubble and soft foam, But hey if its arrived to you safely thats the main thing

If this is the best packaging job you've eber had I feel for you. It is absolutely wonderful that you recieved you Sony in one piece , but there are a lot of gaps in the packaging from what I can tell and the foam is not secured.

The green paper cover kills the looks. Hope you received the speaker grill covers.

I did not get the original speakercovers , but the one used now give it an "individual" touch , no problem for me, maybe i paint them black .

Looks like paper towels over the speakers.
I don't understand the purpose of that. It is just going to muffle the sound, especially the highs.

Those boxes are great and I congratulate you for getting one, but the material covering the speakers is straight-up wack.

Hope you can find some real grills.

Forget about the speaker covers, nobody here leaves them on, because they are ugly and they hide the beauty of this box.

Calling 'em "super-tweeters" is a stretch, as the highs on this box are good/very good but not great to the levels of competing with M90's, S90's and whatnot... Still, the highs sound better - but more laid back - than my 3-way Sharp GF-508SB.
