People are turning aways from the the recycling depots up here in huge huge numbers. It seems there is a new movement underway . The idea of dont trash it reuse it is gathering steam. There is a large amount of people who are making the choice to not take things to the recycling depot to be turned into cheap raw materials for off shore companies. This is a just getting started but it is a step in the righ direction. While there is still tons of perfectly useable electronics being tosses aways there is a growing movement where people are choosing to reuse things instead of just giving them away to be trashed.
