in brief --she has and makes PLENTY of money --
never will need any more

but --traveling// lodging, etc for the USA olympic teams are very expensive-
so she makes lots of signing type appearances --
to promote the sport --
and MOSTLY...
to raise funds so that the girls who COMPETE with her will
have the $$ means to travel & time to practice
