Hello all,

I have both of these BB's and I'd like to carry out the line in mod for them as they're way too sensitive for an AUX input.

I've searched the forums but didn't find anything relating to this, does anyone have any info or diagrams that will show me what I need to do?

Thanks in advance.

To resolve problem with strong audio signal you need passive audio attenuator:
You can made by yourself:

... or find in ebay or amazon:

Goodluck...

Could really use a couple of those Calrad attenuators but can't find a site that will ship to the UK. Can any U.S. Members help?

I have the same problem with old DVD player.
When I listen different CDs or MP3-CDs, they have different levels.
To resolve this problem I integrated one Attenuator in player.
I make hole in back panel and insert potentiometer.
Make connections just like picture 1.

Hisrudeness, I found for you similar on ebay.co.uk:

If I make one as per the diagram above what K pot do I need? And is it linear or logarithmic? Cheers :-)

In my player I use stereo potentiometer 50 K ohms.
Linear or logarithmic? I'm not shure, but work very good...

I recently acquired Sharp GF-9494 and im wondering how to make the phono input to line in... :hmmm:
The easy way would be to get an RIAA phono input to line level attenuator. MCM Electronics used to stock these, but the item hasn't been available for a couple of years. Member, Northerner, bought several if I remember correctly. He might have an extra you can buy.

If you want to try your luck at finding one online, here's a Google link:

Does anyone know any internal mods to convert phono to line in?

Please, upload picture from this mod.
A little advice from me:
It's better to de-soldering all unused electronic components from board.
Good luck.
