Get Your Hostess While You Can!!

Hi,after hearing Thursday night about Hostess's impending doom
I went to the thrift store Friday and they were already mostly wiped out
of the good stuff!

I did pick up 1 box of Twinkies,1 box of Suzie Q's,1 box of Ho Ho's,
1 Frosted Mini Bun,and 1 cupcake twin pack!!
Tonight's finds are In addition to the above mentioned:2 boxes of
Ding-Dongs and 2 apple pies!!!!
Yay me!!!!!
Now can someone please send me some cherry pies for a Lennox egg!!
Man I could use 1-2 more boxes of Twinkies but those are the rarest!!

I loved the blueberry and the rare seasonal blackberry pies the best!!
In grade school once in a while I'd get a rare fruit pie In my lunch box
and you could trade that for anything!!!
I'm going to miss Hostess with the mostess!
Lovely sugar pies and delicious sponge cakes that are so nicely bad
for you but taste wonderful!!!

Yep I spent $13 on three boxes, 2 zingers and 1 of the cinnamon squares. No twinkles or orange cupcakes which are my favorite

Sad to see greed get in the way of an 80 yr. old company.

Screw the workers and the customers.

I believe they will sell the company back to themselves and re-name it.

Truly sad. The end of an American Icon. Those striking Unionized Bakers just picketed themselves out of a job. And, We are paying for it. I made a comment to My Wife that was so politically incorrect (unintentional). It was that Hostess wold sell the company & Twinkie right to China. Therefore a coining the new Twinkie name by merging to words into one; Chinese + Twinkies = Ch_ __kies. But that sounded so bad. There are so many Craigslist ads now, selling Hostess products.

Thats about how I am, maybe eat a twinkie every 5 years.. never been into that junk, now Little Debbie on the other hand...
