Hey guys and gals, Its true...in a couple months or so another updated 931BT model will be arriving. This model will most likely out do all models.

You say why??? Well that's because Lasonic done away with apple and will no longer have the IPod/IPhone dock... It will be replaced with a 5 band slider EQ just like the original. That is so awesome and I know a lot of you members will be stoked...

As a true Lasonic fan, I have each one of the Editions of the I931 including the original I931, the I931X and the new 931BT. I just can't wait for this new Edition :-)

If I hear anymore news I will keep members informed ;-)

A real EQ? Yay  I'll be Vacatoning in Anaheim (So.Cal) in August and will most likely pick one up directly from their Company Headquarters. I will get etras bits and pieces for y other Lasonics too. You can bet Your bottom dollar that I'll be asking for a tour of the place. Doubtful they will grant it but, I'll ask. I'mjust glad they're continuing the BoomBox line since too many others are not. Go Lasonic!

IF it has a real eg, and has the cool colour scheme in that eye-hurtingly fuzzy photo, then I'll likely buy one. I still liked the chrome speaker rings though; easy swap out if it comes with black ones

Another thing I found out is that the reason they don't sell other colors in states, like Red or Gold, is because there's no demand for them :-(

Heck I would have owned them both :-)

Hey THAFUZZ, let me know if you set up a visit with the Lasonic HQ. I'd love to go with you! I work in Orange County and could "call in sick" or something... :-D

Just in case you missed other post... Lasonic finally changed the decals on 931BT and we are no longer needing to worry about them melting in sun. They are a bit thicker and the tuner and led windows are not as clear so that it blocks suns rays ;-)

I got one of the new Lasonic 931BT (not with the EQ).....and I have to say that I am not really impressed with the unit. The first unit I had worked fine for a day....then the Bluetooth stooped working. It would not connect with any phone. Just received my replacement radio. The sound on these is OK...not great by any means. I also don't know what the deal is with them draining the batteries. If I use the battery function and turn the radio off....I come back the next day to see they are dead...dead as in won't even power up the unit. Both units did this...anybody else expierience this?

Interesting....I wonder if the clock is killing the batteries. The best thing to do with them is flip the switch on the back to wall power, this cuts the battery power OFF.

Yes Chris it's the clock and switching to AC is best option.

I've been flipping the voltage switch to the AC side to shut down the unit (which seems silly to have to do this) ....could a LCD clock drain 10 D batteries in day??? Unless it was the cheap batteries I was using, but my JVC m70 runs forever on them.
