General SRC 8000

Nabbed this one off the bay by making an early offer. $80 plus $40 postage and she was mine.
Filthy when it arrived. Cassette no go at this stage. Everything else is all there and working a-ok.
Sound is half decent...and it weighs quite a bit (justified after looking inside)!

Took her apart for a clean... (this box i don't think had been opened before - virgin territory!)

Might have gone a little silly with the photos. Digital tuner is very similar to the M80. This box also has several AKA's (Citizen etc)

Nice pick up, I was wondering who got it.
Winner of the oddest tuner scale & indicator ever. The deck is easy to work on which is a plus. I picked up one last year and was surprised by it, not a fan of the control (slider/button) layout though.

ive got the same box branded as a teleton,model number vst8000-i can vouch for its presence-its nice and large,great sounding and weighs a tonne!i absolutely love mine
