All the boxes I have worked on seem to have the same fuse so may be worth checking it out if you haven't already...
By any chance can you post up a picture of how the fuse looks and maybe I can look into it..as well as where can I get a replacement fuse if that comes to be the issue.

No worries, will take a picture tonight after work. As for where to get one I just pinched one out of one of my parts boxes as most of them seem to be the same style and specs, but I imagine you could get it from any electronics stores ( in Australia we have one called JayCar).

thanks, glen. I was observing the box a bit after i took it apart.. didnt even see a fuse.. im telling you guys, Its really clean as if nothing is wrong with it. but has to be something ..

Yeah, if you didn't see it when you had it open then it must not have one... they are pretty hard to miss. Here is a pic of the one in my Hitachi TRK 8610 AU... and good luck finding the actual cause!

thanks man, again I will open it up and see what I can find .. if not im at a cross roads.. sigh.
