Let's start off with saying I'm not the handiest guy around...but I'm trying.
Some of you may remember pics of my Boom Corner in my garage. Me and my girl like to drink and smoke and hangout in the garage because we don't smoke in the house. We have an awesome setup in the basement with a bar and fridge and TVs and all that but like I said...we smoke.
So we decided to insulate the exposed part of the garage, put up 1/2" plywood, paint, etc, etc. Not just for hanging out but also to organize the garage and make it a little nicer. Now we can fit both our vehicles in here and still have room to hang out. I don't have the old Boom Corner pics on my phone but I know they're on the site somewhere.
We still have a little work to do but the garage is about 90-95% done. Just wanted to share with you guys.

So, I take it you'll be spending more time in the Boom Corner than the main house? - Nothin' wrong with that!
Looks great.
BTW, where's the Toilet Roll 8650?

I hope, you have done a thorough structural analysis for the two racks on top of the LCD TV.
The two racks are damn heavy.

You said it! I don't think those shelves could handle the Toilet Roll 8650...I'll keep that in the house.

Thanks fellas. We love it. We still have a couple more things to do. I'll post a final pic when I'm done.

Hell Yeah
Nice work! It's important for a man to have a place to get loud! Watch the big game, scream at the TV, pump some tunes!

Yep, mighty fine work!

Just to let you know GZ that without 2 more support brackets under the shelves on the outsides...the outer shelves will slowly and gradually begin to "bend/curve/warp" over time...= not good . The rest looks good

Thanks, boys.
Yeah Gordie, the shelves were meant for garage stuff and 1 garage boomer...but it looked so damn nice out there I had to add a few more. I'll just replace the shelves when they warp...they're like 8 bucks apiece.
Wish I could throw a pool table out there, john...that would be sick.

hell plywood walls are the best . no blocking needed hang stuff on the walls, i get so tired of messing with anchors and stud finders , looks great . hell if the garage had a bed and a small bathroom i could could live there.

That one on the bottom shelf.. Middle... I'm not sure... but I don't think it looks very good there with the rest... I'll take it off your hands. No charge needed. I'll even pay you to ship it to me.... ;-)

Looking good!!!
