Yup - you are correct. Got mine today after a long time of hunting for one.
I yet have to figure out the functions. It takes a 9V battery...I wonder if those sliders control tape speed as well...

Oh no. It took so long to get the Blue Perdisco. To find the mic as well? What does the mic do specifically?

Mr Rudeness, that shot of all three is an instant legend! Pictures that break the internet.

I tried so hard to get the Red one when I was in Japan, but they go for big money, more than I was willing to pay and I wasn't even paying for shipping. (out of Japan)

I don't know which is more beautiful, the red or the blue. The three together are just stunning.

That microphone looks wild. Probably (guessing here) record / playback controller / record volume controller?

One of the things I love so much about this era of electronics is the fact that it's analog. The way they had to overcome hurdles to make something happen in the order it needed to happen. Voltage regulators and limits switches. I just love this stuff.
