I don't stock any 2" because all the JVC hardware I cut out is for 1.5".

I might have a couple colors in 2" but I will have to check.

Taking my grey JVC strap I got from you in Vegas to Venice tomorrow to click it into my new Dream Box I am getting from Reli :w00t:

More on that later!

ALSO, look for fresh new "Joe's Custom Straps" ad in issue 4 of Boombox Magazine! ;-)

Hey Joe,

So, I picked up this gem from Reli (will post pictures in the collections thread) JVC 3090 EN.

I brought one of your straps with me, but it didn't go in far enough to lock. Are their different JVC straps? Should I just grind it down?

JVC did have a 1" wide strap and hardware, which is probably the one that would fit your blaster. They are black straps and I based my original strap design off of the 1" strap but after doing that I found that JVC had 1.5" wide straps too and have only stuck to making those because they are more comfortable than the 1" wide.

Let me see if I have a 1" wide hardware set laying around.

For now, check to see if these dimensions work on your new JVC of the 1" strap hardware.

I think the 1" strap hardware is exactly what you are looking for. Your mic is showing about 1.63" BUT your box also has a wider slot opening for the actual hardware to slide into on each side. My measurement of the M70 1" strap hardware is 1.654". I bet it slides in perfect.

Don't you have an old 1" strap I put together for you years ago? There was about 20-30 1" style that I put a JVC shoulder pad on too like shown below.

Here is the internal channel measurement.

If I got a narrower one from you, then it was the first black one I got for my 838. Later, you sent me a strap with green ends that match the 838 and I think I gifted that first strap to another member. I haven't seen it in many years.

Yup, the smaller hardware/strap combo will fit your radio. I will see if I have any more sets here. You could also use the small 1" strap hardware and just use a 1.5" J-hook strap through the slots of the hardware....
