From Speaker Boxes to Boomboxes

These are "Houses of Joy" AKA sound system speaker boxes. The speaker boxes behind the M90 are from 1970s-1980s Jamaican sound systems including one run by legendary dub reggae producer King Tubby. 
The speaker stack behind the 935 is from the Dub Siren sound system based in Los Angeles. I erroneously stated that it is a 40,000 watt system; it is a 14,000 watt system which requires three separate circuits to run.

I think the sound pressure might kill the M90 speakers.AE_Stereo said:
They will act like microphones and have no idea that might do to the internal circuits.
I've cracked 2 windows when my home theatre volume was barely 1/3rd (peak 2500Watts power).

AWESOME!!! Horn loaded woofers have the best sound & can be 5 times as efficient as regular woofer cabinets. Cleaner transients & more acoustic power out per watt in are reasons I LOVE horn loaded sound systems & King Tubby & his comrades of the DUB scene knew this & that is why they lugged around such complicated, heavy & HUGE cabinets.
