I got one all broke down, cleaned up, and put back together. Damn these are easy to work on.

I finished my "keeper" JVC M70  . I timed the speed of the cassette on my Victor M70 with the speed of MP3 playback on another box. Then I used the timed cassette of my Victor M70 to time the JVC M70 :-O  :breakdance: . It's fun listening 2 of the same cassettes at the same time on different boxes trying to listen to the speed variations :dunce: . Hahahaha

Everything is running great so I took another shoot of my keeper M70's (one victor and one JVC) all done

UMMMMMM....How ironic is it, that the guy that MAKES straps....finds a radio WITH an original strap!

Hahaha, yeah - that is kind of ironic  . I actually found 3 original JVC straps. The orange/yellow/black (new in package), blue rainbow (from bendycat), and now the black one  .

They are only good for display though, not even close to the strength of my replica straps :nonono: .

I love these things! :smooch:  :w00t: :-D :surf: :breakdance:

Kinda off topic but how difficult is it to install one of those LED kits in an M70? I also would like to purchase a cassette door sticker for my other M70 I have too. BTW...those M70's are very nice! Congrats! I actually prefer the M70 with shortwave. The tuner dial area looks very barren with just AM/FM.

Will be posting a video very soon with Joe installing the LED kit. Norms instructions are very easy to follow so that as long as you have a little soldering skill you can do this
