I never got to know Stuart Scott but what an inspirational speech coming from a guy that have been battling cancer not once but twice.

As a person as myself that is also battling twice and thank god it's in remission. He's my hero but damn this sickness took him too soon!

R.I.P.

I remember first seeing him back in 93...

He was revolutionary. He caught a lot of flak from traditionalists but he knew where sports was going, the audience, and how to market not only ESPN...but himself.

He'll always be "Cooler than the other side of the pillow..."

Sportcenter will never be the same...BOO-YOW!!!! :-/

And Juan...my prayers are always with you brother...Keep thumpin' like that M90 of yours. You're a winner no matter what! :afro:

Thank you for your kind words Freddie I really appreciate that good vibe you always send out.

I really got inspired and touched by these words that he said:

"When you die that does not mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner which you live".

That's so true for those as I who are in this battle and set fourth on a crusade on finding a cure. How I envy those that do not have to carry this in their mind on a daily basis.
