Just hooked this lot up to have a first look at the mystical S-curve I've seen lurking in many a boombox manual. All gone ok and a sweet looking S on the screen. As i pan up and down the swept 10-11MHz I.F. band with the RF CENTRE control i find 3 i.f. curves though - at 10.9MHz, 9.8MHz and 9.0MHz. What could be going on??
The cassette radio is a little Sony CFM-10 that uses a mono radio chip to base the circuits around. A TA8164p to be precise.
