Following TRC-920's advice to use felt furniture pads, I finally fixed the floppy handle on my 931! 
The falling floppy handle caused more than one extra take during the Boomboxラジカセ Creators shoot.
I wish I had known of this fix before; it was cheap, fast, and easy (I don't get a trifecta like that very often)! 

Using old-school drafting template to mark area to be removed

Marked pad on card

Finished pad stuck to right side of handle (another finished pad was attached to left side before re-assembly)
