Fisher PH-490 , PH-492 Differences?

Hi all, are there any differences between the Fisher PH-490 and the Fisher PH-492? They look the same?

I think the main unit is the same. Only the speakers look different
PH490 was released in Europe and PH492 in America.

Only the Blue trim rings around the woofers, Chrome speaker caps, Grills and blue Fisher logo on the cassette door.

490 looks like it has 4 inputs/outputs on the front bottom where the 492 appears to have 3 . Unless the 490 pictured is missing a knob??

Good point,, can anyone clarify? It seems that the only differences are cosmetics .. are the speaker wattages and size the same across the 460, 490 and 492?

460 is similar but smaller to 480 as a matter of fact I just got Scott's 460 to work on today for him

Indeed. This 490 is missing the Mic Mixing knob at the bottom. Lemme go take some comparo pics of the 480,490 & 492........

Sorry for the delay fellas. I was busy screaming at the TV (Football games) My Oregon Ducks are getting ready to kick off so I'm just throwing a bunch of pics up for You all to sort through. The 460 is smaller than all three of these. I've always wanted a 460 too. Here's a borrowed pic with white woofers swapped into both the 460 & 480. I believe this pic is from a member here.

The PH 492 looks so much nicer than the PH 490 .
Good to know that the PH 492 is the US version.

That 495 is the only one left I've left to get from the big Fisher PH series . I see the 495 lacks the graphic chart imprint under the PH-495 logos (speaker cases).

I swapped my woofers out because the black ones just bored me to death. Let me know what ya think. I still have the old one if I wanna bring her back to specs. And yes they're 8ohm woofers from a J1.
