ok guys im new at this site and i was impressed at a lot of your guys' boxes and was wonderin what was your guyses first box and when did u get that box...
my first box was my panasonic rx5100 that i purchased off of fresh produce last summer

My first box was the JVC RC-646JW. It was a small, nice-looking boombox. It's sound wasn't that bad, either.

About 5 or so years ago i picked up a JVC PC-11 from a second hand shop for $15
I thought it was the coolest thing i had ever seen
and then it just got crazy from there

Pops got it for me new in 84'. Needed a lot of TLC after 20 + years of use and abuse, so I refurbished it to like new condition, with all oem accesories, parts and user/service manuals.
It's what got me started in this crazy pastime!
