I can't imagine the fun to have that boombox at age 10!

I had Sharp GF9696F in 1982. Sadly I lost it in a move.. now I have one ..but not like the brand new one that I took out of a soft thin semi transparent gray plastic from the big box with styrofoam. I adored it... and the love goes on...

We all have the same problem...we all love boomboxes a lot..because we grew up with them.

Good job Joe! I never knew you had it all! wow!

You kept it in fantastic/like new condition!

hey guys thank you ......i have to tell you the great memories i have of that radio i took it everywhere with me ..... I can tell you all the great radio shows back in the 80's I can rember listening to howard stern....imus..they were bizzare on the am dial....lol..man that was great radio... also back then they had music shows live from various night clubs with dj mixes ....but one of my memories was the start of rap... grand master flash ...the message.. the first time i heard that song was on my 8989...wow makes me smile everytime i look at it. And finding all those pictures was a the icing on the cake ..but most of all it reminds me of my late mother she worked so hard to get me that radio for christmas.....thanks guys was really glad to share this with all of you
