Finally popped my cherry today!

From small acorns, big oak trees grow... bought today at an indoor boot sale in Whitstable, Kent, UK for £4!

Still on the hunt for a decent box but at least I busted my first box today, cheers all!

Everything I got is in the wild and cheap finds. It started with one crap Sony . I don't have the most massive or valuable collection but I have some pretty nice boomboxes now. Once you start looking the boxes will come although it's been really dry here for a while things are showing up more in the thrift stores again.

Cheers fellers! When I saw this box I just wanted to get it home, plug it in, play a tape and post in here, I really feel like I'm part of something, albeit a junior member!

I'm like a vampire on a blood hunt now! The easy path is eBay... nothing wrong with that obviously but I wanna get them "in the wild" as you guys have stated... in old people's lofts, boot sales... chance...

We'll see how it goes!
