Finally.......my Boom Room....

well i finally moved into my new place last weekend....and i finally have my Boom Room.....
threw a little bash last night that got outta control.....good times...no boomers were injured....

Such powerful recievers needs good heat exchange/ heat dessipation, either by a fan or by at least with some headspace. I'm sure you know about it. :yes: :yes:

If you block the heat vents......it will get heated up and have a premature death. :nonono: :nonono: It can melt the bottom of M90 also. Those plastics made in those times had very low heat deflection temperatures. They can get easily deformed at a low heat range.

I give a minimum of 6 Inches clearance on the top to dessipate heat. :yes: :yes:

well aware broham....the heat vents dont start til a couple inches back....its solid right there...but i take it off when i let that kenwood roar

Yes!! I ripped out 2/3rds of my windows in my living room and walled em up for more space. I encourage this wholeheartedly!

those are MTX AAL 2230s....i had them in high school and found a pair on craigslist for dirt cheap...
theyre 4 ohms so im drawin 200 watts per channel from my kenwood KR-9600...
yeah they hit really hard......

I had a pair of 15 inch MTX drivers in the back of my 83 Monte Carlo Back when I was in Highschool.
They hit pretty hard as well!!!
Man I loved those speakers :yes:
