Finally Got A Few Boxes

[fresh produce]

I haven't found anything good for a few months but I finally got lucky here's what I found

First up I got a sony cfs-65 it's a good little radio pretty loud for its size I just love the looks of the speakers


Second I got a sharp gf-8585 I was expecting it to be a lot bigger a very solid box good sound


Third I got a jvc rc-838 such a nice looking box great build quality and sweet sound


Fourth i got my second sony cfs 99 I love this box so much! I had to get two one for the collection and one for the streets! Cool thing about this one is has a plastic that goes over the control panel with Japanese writing but it's only half

Member Vladi once told me his CFS-99 has good bass but mediocre highs. It's still on my wish list for sentimental reasons.

Very nice haul!!!
I have a soft spot for the Sony 99
I heard one that was pretty beat at one of the sunshine mixes.
Sounded very decent.
A little muddy on the bass if I remember correctly.

I have the complete CFS series.
CFS 99 got a unique look. It is a heavy box!
It has got the highest bass in that CFS series, but overall the sound quality is 'just okay".
The main deck belt is very long. I would say it is the longest on any other boombox I have seen.
