Hello everyone. As we all do we often want to relive our youth!
And so ive found myself a Ferguson 3T09. Off ebay, so cheap , but complete and in not bad condition.
But.... (isn't there always a but?) The tape deck doesn't run. I can hear the motor running , but no movement. But also, strangely it makes a sort of "woo - woo" sound through the speakers.
Now ive done nothing as yet. Just plugged it in and the radio works great, clear sound, tunes in well.
Im fairly handy with mechanical aspects, but electrickery? That's a black art!
Any advice on where to start, or whats likely wrong would be much appreciated!
