lets say your financial condition gets dwindled --
so all you can afford at goodwill is a 4 buck beach chair

now you can't expect to get wooden armrests with a $4 chair .. right

so - what to do // what to do ?
---------------------
so happens that i have 3 marvelous styles of snap-on armrests ...
fully adjustable for maximum comfort
------------ these plans are all available to paid-up active members
with over 1000 posts for just a nominal ' insider' fee plus modest s/h
-------------

and here are a few potential customers

Why does the blue chair armrest have a support leg on the right side, and not on the left? Is this for someone with a heavier right arm?

haha - well thats a cute observation, norm --
there are 2 reasons
1. its a prototype being tested to see if it needs that support
2. there is the nifty possibility that instead of the leg going all the down to the sand-
it can just be a 3 or 4 inch short leg that bottoms on the chair frame

I've always said the most obvious sign of someone going through hard times is a lack of armrests on their beach chairs!

Thanks for helping out the less fortunate amongst us.

James... :-)

Wow, I never realized how hard of times I had fallen until I read this thread :-/

I must be destitute :'-( as I have no armrests at all :sadno:

Is there anything can't do with your wood Ira?

You crack me up Ira!
I say use those special nylon webbed aluminum lounges you found that were identical to my fathers,1950-1960's vintage!!! Where are those classics?? They have the ratcheded adjustable side arms for tilting your back!! Old is good!!! (lol ) :)
