Very cool! Formulas were always good performace values. Cheaper than the Trans Am, and lighter as well.

My grandparents had a "Duece & A Quarter"! Lemon Meringue Yellow with a white vinyl top. Of course the interior was the equivalent of a Queen Victoria lounge.

That 67 Le Mans is a serious dream car for me!
That is a kick A$$ car, but this model was actually the tempest, funny thing was Pontiac had 4 models that were pretty much the same for 66-67 years. Each model was suppose to have more and better features... The Le mans considered the low end then the Tempest... And the 3rd model was the 2+2, and last the goat ;-)

I totally forgot about the 2+2....Had a buddy with a sweet 66 LeMans.

When I was 17 years old, there was a 67 rag top for sale in my neighborhood. The guy wanted $1,500 for it. Red with Black top, it had a 455 / 4 speed out of a 1977 Trans Am and it was F'n FAST! I gave the guy $500 as a deposit, came back 2 days later and it was gone! He gave me my $500 back, but as you can tell, I'm still very up set about that! :-/

All original and garage kept by an elderly philipino gentilmen that passed away few years ago and I was lucky enough to purchase it from his son for $3000  thanks for the positive feedback guys. I also own a 1972 Buick Skylark with a 326 Pontiac motor with my fiancée that we have been working on :-D

Your Firebird looks like it's in Minty condition  . I always have had a crush on the 87 Grand National  . I would settle for that Lemans though! I live near a Bass Pro Shop and the have a cruise in every two weeks! I'll have to be on the lookout for boombox collectors! ;-)
