below -- is the last decent shot --that will ever be taken of my trusty 30 year old cart
:'-( :'-(
appropriately --it has a box on it !!!
i bought it 20 years ago -- it was a beater --even then
but with a very high torque 36 V motor- a quiet tranny--
an easy steering box adjuster-
and a heavy duty 2" tubular steel frame...
then --as we kids often do --
i threw the body away ::
added 'dual exhausts'
bucket seats--harley directionals--deep dish aluminum wheels -
white letter tires ---and a bunch of stickers and other kiddie crap
( ALL will be saved for my next custom cart job) :super:
--------------------------------------------
finally-- yesterday- it was its last day here
after many too many cruises --ON the beach --
and helping countless times to yank my friends hobiecats and jets skies out of
the SALT WATER
and even with lots of welding and coats of rustoleum --
the frame was about to cave --so while it could still , at least roll
we rolled it up on a friends trailer --to the DUMP
happily --several of our members got to drive it here
and 100 times better than even that
i claim that NO cart that ever existed --has ever carried
more and/or better chicks !!!
honestly --how about 300 various lovely butts --over 20 years-
THE TRUTH --yipeeee
and then --it was faultless// dependable for thousands of fun miles-
including romantic moonlight cruises with wifey --
and was loved and driven by our three kids-
and enjoyed by all 5 grandkids --
there was/is no better way to catch a breeze --tote a BIG GRAIL---
and quickly bomb around the hood --
its the most quiet, cool and clean air ride -- there is !!!
anyhow -- the fun is FARr from over --
as a temporary replacement -- i got this ALL ALUMINUM frame
"club car" brand cart --also yesterday --
its was made in the USA -- augusta , georgia
PLUS
- there is a real original 30 year old
harley davidson 3 wheel CART-- made in milwaukee --
in my storage --waiting for my restoration
new pictures --added tonight
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
well -- i just wanted to share this very emotional good-bye
to what was --the worlds coolest grail wagon .
