below -- is the last decent shot --that will ever be taken of my trusty 30 year old cart
:sadno: :'-( :'-(
appropriately --it has a box on it !!!

i bought it 20 years ago -- it was a beater --even then :-D
but with a very high torque 36 V motor- a quiet tranny--
an easy steering box adjuster- :-)
and a heavy duty 2" tubular steel frame...

then --as we kids often do --
i threw the body away ::  :dunce:

added 'dual exhausts' :w00t:
bucket seats--harley directionals--deep dish aluminum wheels -
white letter tires ---and a bunch of stickers and other kiddie crap    :surf:

( ALL will be saved for my next custom cart job) :super:
--------------------------------------------

finally-- yesterday- it was its last day here

after many too many cruises --ON the beach --
and helping countless times to yank my friends hobiecats and jets skies out of
the SALT WATER :dunce:

and even with lots of welding and coats of rustoleum --
the frame was about to cave --so while it could still , at least roll :-)
we rolled it up on a friends trailer --to the DUMP

happily --several of our members got to drive it here :-)

and 100 times better than even that :-O :-O
i claim that NO cart that ever existed --has ever carried
more and/or better chicks !!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :-P

honestly --how about 300 various lovely butts --over 20 years-
THE TRUTH --yipeeee :-D :-D

and then --it was faultless// dependable for thousands of fun miles-
including romantic moonlight cruises with wifey -- :angelic:
and was loved and driven by our three kids-
and enjoyed by all 5 grandkids --

there was/is no better way to catch a breeze --tote a BIG GRAIL---
and quickly bomb around the hood --
its the most quiet, cool and clean air ride -- there is !!!

anyhow -- the fun is FARr from over --
as a temporary replacement -- i got this ALL ALUMINUM frame
"club car" brand cart --also yesterday --
its was made in the USA -- augusta , georgia

PLUS   - there is a real original 30 year old
harley davidson 3 wheel CART-- made in milwaukee --
in my storage --waiting for my restoration :angelic:   :-)

new pictures --added tonight
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
well -- i just wanted to share this very emotional good-bye
to what was --the worlds coolest grail wagon .

Congrats Ira! :w00t: :hoveround:
There is a Columbia Parcar factory in Reedsburg Wisconsin about 15 min drive from me. I wonder if they are a similar company. :hmmm:
Your cart sounds great!

I am blessed to have had the opportunity of driving your old cart, Ira. I think I'll have a moment of silence here now.

Hey, in addition to pretty girls and such, you can also add "Foreign Dignitary" to that list. Ralf came all the way from Germany to ride that cart.

well -- sad -yes -

the same buddy that picked up the yamaha -
also delivered this adult type cart |-) |-)

in some rare circles .... "adult" does not mean porn :-)
instead --it means = mature gentleman :-D

to that end --and for its very first trip-
i elected to bring my 'worlds most elegant' box
the silver grundig # RR 1140
the perfect companion for this sophisticated ride

also -- look in our collections forum-- later on --for yet another nifty
thread -
-this gorgeous grundig inspired me to shot my entire collection
of mint mature boxes :hmmm: :-D

also #2 :-)
--is that i need to show you guys --that this particular
'old mans' cart --does not have to remain as such --

i had this exact cart about 10 years ago --
stuck some ' Mickey Thompsons' on all 4 corners

and the THREE !!! inch tail pipes --cool stickers --racing buckets. etc etc
----and got LOTS of it :w00t: :w00t:  :hooray:  :pimp:

For a few seconds I was afraid you were posting about the demise of the Woodie.... :'-(

or is that a bit redundant? :hmmm:
