It's a worthy unit in as much as it would sound awesome but it scores a 1/10 for looks IMHO.
I think my minty $20 RX-DT680 would sound similar but with more traditional lines.

Panasonic do make a quality product so good luck to the new Cobra owner.

you can tell from the bid list --there were several ' ebay mature ' collectors trying to win it -
in 10 years searching on usa ebay -- this is the ONLY 909 i have ever seen --and its truly MINT

to some few --that may have been a $$$CORE -
to others ...its an outrage

i wish i owned it -- just for long enough to hear it a few times -
then - maybe a keeper --or a resale
