Sounds like he could have used a check from himself the last decade of his life. These people live like they are going to be cash-cows their entire life. That is how they end up doing pathetic ad campaigns when they should have long ago been enjoying their golden years.

Living outside of your means is a common problem with today's culture but for people who have earned tens of millions of dollars it's an especially dumb and unecessary thing to do. Why would he even need a mortgage on his house if he had earned tens of millions of dollars? :hmmm:

I tend to believe my conservative thinking of living within your means is the exception and not the norm. We live in a society of people who have to have everything now and aren't willing to wait and work for it.

Plus he just won a 7 million dollar lawsuit against the builder a few years back... some mold issue. I don't know... if you are that dman old who gives you a 5 million dollar + mortgage in the first place. My guess is that agent and handlers and all of the people that run the business that is "Ed McMahon" pretty much used up the cash that he earned. Sure they made sure that he could drive what he wanted, live where he wanted and fly where he wanted. But in the end it was a house of cards. Multiply that times 10 when it comes to pop-stars and rap stars. They live above their means even before they have any means at all. Then they have one hit and go big-time. In the end they all end up like Vanilla Ice...

Nice....

I heard that Vanilla Ice is going to be on some reality show with Mc Hammer. I think I will record it. Just so I can delete it without watching it. :grim:

Let's not forget who foots the bill when they go bankrupt, You and Me!!!! There's no free ride, the money still comes from somewhere whether it's the front door or the back door. If a company is stiffed by a bankruptcy they simply roll that loss into the costs elswhere.
