Ebay win ! Sony CFS-280

hey everybody, so I won this Sony boombox today. I had someone I know in Michigan bid on it for me since he lives 1 hour away from the seller in Michigan, the seller would not ship outside U.S.
Is this a good buy ? I like the old small sony boxes.

Maybe, but I search kijiji and craihslist and all is very expensive.
I only buy booboxes if I find a super deal.

Well it finally came in today. I cleaned it a bit to get a bit of dust and grime off... and it cleaned up very nice !
I hooked it up, and it blew my mind how nice and clean it sounds for such a tiny box !

That mini EQ on the front probably makes it sound real nice! Small SONY boxes can surprise you with good sound!

Yes, but smaller and different color since its from 1987.

Great find. Words of owner or minty looking, can't beat ones in original packaging in mint condition. That tells you about how the unit was really taken care of, even if it was used.
