nothing is foolproof ....

but --the best way to eliminate problem type loser bidders :dunce: :annoyed: :annoyed:
is to sell via ' best offer '

that gives us sellers plenty of time to study the buyers involved -
note that we dont ever need to sell to the highest offer --if they are aholes :-)

I made a $5 Best Offer on a box today that has a $500 BIN price... Still waiting to see if they accept my offer!

How does a "best offer" sale work?

Buyer sends you his best offer and you can accept, decline, or counter offer. That's how I just sold my Conion, I kept counter offering and they only get 3 best offers then they have to use buy it now or lose it :-)

Do you have to start with a BIN price or can you just leave it open?

yes --thats right --but putting up a $$ hgh BIN -
most always results in best offers

Interesting. Those would be the pay-for fixed price auctions that include the optional 'best offer', the free (50 free per month) regular auctions only include buy-it-now without best offer option...

Yep, be picky and read ALL feedback. Keep in mind that a seller ONLY has the option of giving a positive feedback to a buyer period. So if they end up getting screwed over by a buyer the only recourse is to leave a positive feedback with a negative message.

Also you can set you preferences to block buyers who have two or more non paying bidder strikes against them or four or more policy violations.. This action sweeps those losers under the carpet and clears up most of the headaches of selling on ebay.
