My brother bought me a new Panasonic RX-5230F back in the early 80s.

It is such a rare box that I couldn't find one anywhere nowadays. Once it popped up on Ebay and was sold for $35, it broke my heart.

It had 18W output and sounded so nice. It is a dream to get one in mint condition.

Here is the one and the only picture I could find on the net.

Very cool looking Panasonic! Bet it sounded terrific!

 It sounded so good! Excellent clarity with decent bass. Power output of 18Watts.
Beautiful design with unique color combination. It has got a powerful radio.
I loved the band switch on the lower right side so tuning.

This one is a LITTLE GIANT!

I loved those black grills with holes with a plastic mesh inside and you really feel the air column movement through them.
