I do the same when I don't have a quality recorded tape to play on it. I need the crisp "hhhssssshhhh shhhh shhhh " sound when the music is about to start...not that dead silence. And that is so good when you play on a high end system with the heavy thunder from the speakers.

I think the moral of this story is, don't listen to music on 0.635 cm speaker! (1/4 inch for the Americans)

​I love my step daughter, but when she comes over for a visit, I get up in the morning and I hear this noise...this annoying sound I can't filter out. The closer I get to the kitchen I find it's her stupid iPhone screeching out some unintelligible garbage that was a song. I'm sure the original artist appreciates it too.

It was sad,all these young girls at the beach and some guys(I was up in Mn.in my home town) and no one was playing any boomboxes!:0
