does the jvc rc-555 have audio in port red and white

does the jvc rc-555 have audio in for ipods ? and is it a quality box ? would anyone think its worth 50$ canadian so about 30/35$ american in working condition i kinda like the look of this box its by demension 3 inches less the width and 3 inches less the height and almost 3 inches less the width of the rc-838 which i am basing the size off i think if it has audio in cables it might be a nice box
the only photos i can find of the side shows the red and white jacks but its in japanese so i cant tell

i ve been looking at that exact page and dont see the words aux input but i just watched a review on youtube right now and the gentlemen says aux input jacks pointing to the directly so im assuming it does have them and i can connect up my walkman as a second deck or ipod to make dubs or mixtapes

It's a small 'tone' box. What it's worth is up to you. It does have red/white RCA inputs but I'd guess it wouldn't have a dedicated line in that would operate independently of the deck.

could i plug a walkman into the rca input and hear it through the speakers thats all i want to know

Yes of course, that's what those ports are there for.
The RC555 has a "line in" setting on the function switch. If you set it to that, you should hear the audio coming from the ports.

All jimmy was trying to say is that some boxes do not have a line-in setting. You have to press record on tape to hear the ports.
