I was at a thrift store the other day though, and this Panasonic wouldn't stop looking at me.
Those beautiful cheap white speakers beckoned me,

...but I summoned all of my will power, and left her where I found her.

I lost the battle!!
One week later it was still there. (no surprise)
so I took her home and gave her a fresh coat.
nice well balanced sound, super light weight, knock around box.

Wow, OSS, very nice paint job! it is amazing how you and others are so creative with these pieces - I'd be afraid I'd completely trash one if I'd tried painting it.

I feel your pain Scott, I saw two little radio's I didn't need, Thought about it, thought about it and them bought them and you know what....I'm glad I did.

Now I have a kick ass garage beater that sounds pretty good and I don't have to FREAK OUT when it gets dusty!

Sometimes you got to have a beater box.
